Any one having this problem? help!!!!
I have a 96 300zx n/a i just recently bought the car, It had a hesitation at idle so i replaced the air filters and cleaned the tps connectors and maf, After i got done i started the car and it dies in netural but in first gear it will not die and idles around 2 grand but as son as its in netural it dies. Has any one ever had this problem?

Sounds like you have a hose disconnected somewhere or your idle control isn't working properly: http://z32.wikispaces.com/Idle+Control . Also had a similar issue when the wire going to my TPS was broken. Only way I found out was by hooking up Consult to ECUTalk and seeing the sensor reading peaked out.

When im parked the only way i can start it up is if im in first gear when i ease it into netural i just dies but thank you so much i will check it out and i will let you know what i find

What was the TPS voltage reading?
