There are some 18" Murano wheels from an 05 for sale in my area. I was wondering how they would look, or if they would fit on my 98 Q45. Thanks. I tried to search but found nothing.

Need to sharpen your search. Have been mentioned before but I cannot recall who is using them.

Apppearance is subjective, but they are a little narrow to get anything wider than 235 on your car.

Thanks man. I figured I would get flamed. I guess I need to type in some other word than Murano in my search. I'll keep trying.

Look to see if you can find 2003 or 2004 Infiniti M45 or the 200X Infiniti Q45 Premium wheels.

These are 18"x7.5" or 18"x8", with a 35mm offset, and should work well for your Q, as well as first-gen (1990-1996) Q45's ...

If I recall the muranos were 18x7.5 with about 35mm offset. Which is decent for a Y33 to run 245-45-18. Please correct if necessary on the offset

They would look pretty OEM-ish, they woudlnt sit flush but wont sit sunken, they will be in the wheel wells decently. If they are 35mm offset youll probably want to space them out a little if you want a flush fit.

Z... I know you're probably right but I have been doing some research, and I have not found any 18x8 Q wheels. I have the FSMs and the parts books and I dont see an 18x8 listed, only the 18x7.5. I know we talk about the 18x8s existing but I am not sure they actually do.

Either way, a 7.5 is perfectly adequate for running a 245-45-18 which is a SUPERB choice on a Q45 of any year. I LOVE my 245-45s and wont go to anything but a 255-45-18. My next front tires will probably be 255-40-18 because I have a set of 2 of them in my attic.

2004 FX-35 18x8 wheels 245-45-18 goodyear rsa's. I think they are much nicer than Murano wheels, plus they have infiniti center caps. I get alot of compliments on them. I was going to spring for the FX-45 20's but they are just too big.

Those FX wheels look SWEET! I have seen several post showing the FX wheels, just not the Murano ones. I have been searching for a while for a reasonably priced set of the FX ones, just have not found any. I found the Murano set for $300 and thought I might have to settle on those. I don't mind the OEM look, in fact I prefer it over the bling 20's, just not my style. Are the Infiniti center caps interchangable with the Nissan ones?

I am pretty sure that the Q45 Premium had the 18x8 wheels. I remember wondering whether I could ask the dealer to swap a set of those onto my car when I bought my M45 back in Sept of 2003!

My boss (he has a 2004 or 2005 Q45) is out of town the rest of this week, but when he gets back, I will check his car out and see what they are ...

Very true! That is what I do on my M45. A 7.5" width is fine for a 245/45-18 tire.

Okay, now I am sure (although I was wrong about it being available in 2003 ...)!!

I went and looked at the 2005 (not 2003 or 2004 though!) Q45 Owner's Manual, and it clearly shows three wheel options on page 9-9:

17 x 7.5 35mm 18 x 8.0 35mm 18 x 7.5 40mm

For the 2006 Q45, there were more options (also on page 9-9):

17 x 7.5 35mm 18 x 7.5 35mm 18 x 8.0 40mm 19 x 8.5 40mm

Gotta say those FX wheels are nice! Very OEMish, with a major updated look. I may have to find some when it's tire time again in a couple of years. Good 16" tires are getting harder and harder to find.

I picked those rims up for $400 w/o tires on ebay. You can find them too you just have to be patient. You will probably spend as much or more looking for the murano wheels. I don't think the murano wheels have center caps. I think they have the open bolt pattern design, I could be wrong though. Go for 18x8's, I now have 275's in the rear and it looks sick!!
