Is there anyone of you guys who knows someone that remaps Mitsubishi ecus and if so are they any good at it? And if they are please let me know and possibly what they charge because I need a program to be copied from one ecu to the next.

Quote »u try toyomoto in miami ?
I'll try the others, but Lance is too rich for my pockets. Toyomoto means donate kidney or heart for services rendered and how I know because a friend of mine got the royal $$$$ weeny up his but-tocks with his CRX. Can you say $6000.00 for installation of customer's own bolt-on turbo kit, mounting of intercooler and installation and tuning of customer's own Haltec E6k. Rapeage is what I'm thinking, but thanks for the info.

Any questions regarding DSM can be handled by Garry at Speed Injected in Hallandale Beach. Some people may know him as part of Wrightouch Racing (driver). He won't program the ECU in shop, but I'm sure he can source it for you ... call (954) 454-9697. In shop dyno tuning is also available :)

Quote »Any questions regarding DSM can be handled by Garry at Speed Injected in Hallandale Beach.
I rapped with Gary earlier this week at the shop and this one is a bit of a mystery to him and Lenworth. I have a N/A tuned by AMG 4G63 in my 95 Hyundai Elantra and I have the AMG computer as well. When I plug the ecu up to the Hyundai Elantra's engine harness, it starts up fine and drives almost normal, but it lacks the power it;s supposed to have and the tach goes crazy at about 2800rpm as well as check engine light.

So I was wondering if someone could read the program out of the AMG ecu and copy it to my Hyundai Sonata ecu which is equivalent to that of the eclipse. The AMG engine has some dark green injectors and they are obviously bigger than what the Sonata's ecu can drive because it wastes a lot of gas. So for now I took out the green injectors and put in the Sonata's injectors. Sounds like drama, but I'm not going to rewire that engine with no JDM AMG Galant's harness (No way-no how) and I don't even think those things exist anymore.

go to dsmtuners.com, they should be able to refer you to a good place

edit: i didnt mean to hit the post button, here are some famous shops i know of.road race engineering: http://www.roadraceengineering.comi have seen a lot of people talk a lot about pruven performance, but it's in new england.locally here in fort worth, alamo autosports is very big into dsm's, they did a lot of work on the one sitting in my driveway, if you can't find anyone start a new thread or pm me and ill call them up and ask them for you.sorry, i dont know who's big in miami.

As Shnitz mentioned, you might want to check with Road Race. They are the guys who built the turbo Hyundai that was in one of the more recent Sport Compact Car issues. The setup sounds very similar to yours (Eclipse motor in an Elantra).

There are only a handful of people who can make sense of the hexi format Mitsu uses. And they do it by removing the EPROM chip inside the ECU. You'd be required to remove the chip and send it somewhere (most likely Keydiver) who could tell you what the hell is going on. But considering it's for an N/A 4G and remapped by AMG, I'm not sure anyone is going to be able to help you. That's way far out in left field for your typical DSMer.

diamondstar, I want your alltrac! Those are such badass cars. I would give up my 240 in a heartbeat for one. They're aren't many cars I can say that about, that the alltrac is one of them!

Depends on what kind of trade you mean. :D The car is actually for sale though. I love the car, but it's not the direction I want to be going right now.

You haven't even seen it yet. But hell I'd do it. :) You do realize it's a ST165 and not the 185 right? If you're actually serious about trading, I'm all up for it.
