Any non-240 RB25's in here?

Just curious if there are any folks in here running an RB25 in something OTHER than a 240.

Awhile back I picked up my mount and drive shaft from Mckinney and if I am not mistaken, they had an old mercedez getting a 25 put in. Don't know if that was for sure. It was up on a lift.

A benz with an RB25... that's kind of crazy to think about. Definitly a unique swap there.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the main car for the RB swap is really just the 240.. I have heard of some others, like the 200SX and even an NX, but I haven't seen pictures of either to back that up.

I guess I should have been a little bit more specific.. there's literally dozens of RB powered older Z's... I'm sure some of you are members of hybridz.org.. I was just wondering what other cars people have swapped them into besides classic Z's and 240's..

Soflajdm, tell your friend he has a sweet Z! What are his plans for the car after the swap? Drag, autocross, etc?

I have seen some 510's and older bmw's with SR20, so It wouldn't supprise me if we start seeing some non 240 RB's soon as they have increased in popularity.

How is your car doing now anyway? how does the 300z handle with the rb?

LOL! A Road King with an RB25DET... that would be nuts...

NISMO_RB25, we aren't finished yet, so haven't had a road test. We're waiting on this manifold a guy makes that changes the intake from the driver's side to the passenger side to make the FMIC piping easier and more efficient. She purrs like a kitten, but who knows how it's going to handle. I've also got a ton of additional parts and upgrades non-engine wise coming in that will change the way she handles, so there's really no way to tell.

San Antonio eh? I'm originally from Lufkin, TX, ever heard of it? I've got a contracting friend with a beautiful 400+HP Mr2 in SA, and another friend with a 427 Cobra Jet Mustang down there. Did you keep your AC with your RB swap? I can't imagine how you do it in SA without it...
