I had a blue and yellow pair of these Ultimate 81s. They're awesome; one of the top 3 most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Those and Golas are the best I've ever worn (me <3 low profile soles).

Im getting mixed answers from people on the red. Like the people that hate on puma for whatever reason like the Red ones, and other peeps arent feeling the red.

I've been looking around this thread here and there, and haven't seen any Bapstas. I'm kind of surprised by that, I'm going out Sunday to pick up a pair for this summer.

I'm not going to lie, I like fashion, but only buy things I'll wear constantly and not care about too much. I make enough money to afford them, and I want them, cuz they are awesome. But I'm not 100% if spending ~150 on shoes is good. I'm going to buy a pair that I can wear with anything (i.e., plain white) and they will last me a long time because I take care of my stuff.

Any insight to how they break in though or anything? If anyone has any Bapstas.

i know what you mean about all white shoes, wayy too plain. i, too, take really good care of my shoes. i'm actually wearing a pair of olympic air force 180's right now that i got over 2 years ago and they honestly still look brand new.

i would imagine the bapesta's would break in identical to AF1's seeing as how they are basically the same design (aka will crease like a mother in the toe-box). don't know for sure though since i don't own any.

I don't mind the crease. If I buy a shoe, I'm going to wear it no matter the cost, just the way I am. I'll take care of them, put them in shoe blocks and stuff to try to keep them nice, but I'm still going to wear them. I just think that they look cool as hell.

I was just hoping for a bit of insight into wether or not they're comfortable to wear. I think I'm just going to buy them and thats that, lol.
