Any logical explanation why left rear caliper costs almost 2x the right one?

Yes, I know, I know that the left rear caliper is the one which always seizes on all vehicles. But other than taking advantage of us, why would the left one cost $200 from Courtecy Nissan vs. the right one for $117?

And the obscene price of $110 for the splash guards? WTF? For the part made of sheet metal with one strike of a die! These people should burn holes in the ground and go straight to hell.

No idea on the price thing. I'd think it's an error more than anything? Also not familiar with the left rear going first and I've been doing my own brakes for 30yrs.

Yeah, backing plates (splash guards, etc) are always expensive. I know I've buggered them up on my vehicles with stuck on, rusted on rotors. I've always been able to bang them back into reasonable shape though.
