I keep reading really good things about this product and was wondering if anyone here has used it before?

One of my friends has an AMD C63 and he used to have a mild lifter noise on cold starts before using cara tec. It completely went away after using it for the first time. This product looks to be huge out of the US and a lot of MB and BMW owners use it

What do you guys think about it or what experience you have with our cars and that product?

I've had two cars with the vq37vhr and both ticked on cold start. I think it's inherent to the vvel head design and completely normal. Not sure any additives will make sure difference, but I have heard factory Nissan dino oil w/ ester helps.

From the 2012 M37 owner's manual:

I am not aware of any auto or engine manufacturer that recommends or condones the use of oil additives--not even the magical ones distilled from unicorn tears or whatever...

Well if we all followed the Manufacturers recommendations than why have any discussion at all. Look the guy was just curious if anyone has tried Liqui Moly Cera Tec modifier. if MB and BMW owners use it, which BTW are very, shall i say "sensitive" cars, than how could it hurt our DYI Infiniti's? i'd be willing to check it out. Believe me when i say I'm not trying to ruffle feathers here.

Keywords are 'does not recommend'. Doesn't say 'prohibits', etc. If the engine would blow up if it was used, some other wording would have been used.

So i ended up buying the Engine Flush: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C ... TF8&psc=1
and the Cera Tec Friction Modifier from the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001C ... UTF8&psc=1

I will do the oil change tomorrow and see what i think after a week or few weeks.

My Infiniti Dealer game me two years of free oil changes "regular oil" I switched to Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic after i used all my free ones, and now doing the oil changes myself. The switch was great, the engine felt lighter more lubricated. But then i switched to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and it was a noticeable difference and less engine noise. I always follow the oil changes to the dot. 5k miles or 5 months "today i'm already at 5 months with 3,420 miles
