Any legit RB tuners in the South East?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

I'm looking for a shop to tune my RB25 running AEM series 2 that has plenty of experience with these motors. I live in South Alabama, so prefer something in the region.

So there are no experienced RB tuners from Texas to Florida and up to Atlanta?

I didn't realize Florida wasn't in the South East. I talked to Real Street last weekend who said they could do it. I also talked to zFever in Tampa today. So, thanks for the smart comment :slap:

Doug at TopSpeed Performance here in Alpharetta, GA. Tunes GTRs, EVOs, Subbies, Porches, SR20s, etc etc etc. Tuned mine perfect, no problems. Took three hours, only charged me two hours. VERY LEGIT guy. Do a search on him, he is posted in a lot of forums.

I'm in Mobile. I've never been to that shop, but I've seen a couple of their cars run at Holt. I thought they were Honda guys. I may call fighters garage too. I think they've done a couple RB's. Seems like there's another shop in P'Cola that is big into Nissans, just can't remember the place.

fighters couldn't tell their ***hole from a turbo inlet. besides...they closed. if you're in Mobile why not just go talk to john at F&D. he tunes his own RB25. and adams has specialized in in hondas...but he can tune anything. and you will NOT get better service for your money anywhere. i've seen him spend 8 hours on a car and not charge the kid anywhere near as much as he should of. he does my rb as well.

if you decide to give adams a ring talk to jonny and tell him robbie sent ya.

Hux racing in Alexandria Alabama. He has several cars under his belt including the worlds fastest mr2 and knows aem extremely well. The guy that builds my turbos uses him and the results are impeccable.

LOL, yea I have known John (JT) for almost 15 years and I know everything there is to know about his car and setup. He uses an SDS efi system, and that's all he messes with. He doesn't how to tune an AEM. 10-4 on the Adam's auto, but just because someone knows how to tune an AEM doesn't mean he can tune anything. Every motor is different. This is why I want someone who knows how to tune an RB25 specifically . I don't want to blow a hole through a piston on the dyno right after getting it put together.

actually a motor is a motor is a motor. when done properly they are all tuned the same way, by conservatively increasing or decreasing increments until the desired results or limits are reached. when it comes to adam's...let me put it this way...there are plenty of places i could take my car, but jonny is the only person i would TRUST to tune my rb25. he's very careful and that attention to detail is why i've dealt with jonny for close to 10 years now. anyway...i'm not trying to persuade you one direction or the other. just sharing my experience.
