Yeah, so I found out that my front right shock tower is finally beginning to rust on my 1995 240sx. . . As you can see it's not too bad.

So is there any cheap known durable products, or tricks in preventing this cancer from further spreading?

Thanks, help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of paint would you recommend I use (besides Rex's useful suggestion about the por15 product).

well if you want to be super anal then prime it first with whatever says it has rust inhibitor in it, then shoot it with the black.

Remove the rust before using rust inhibitor + paint. A wire wheel should do the trick.

1.Grind it till all is gone.2.Treat it with chemicals.(I dont know what it's called but at the shop they have this stuff that turns any rust into workable metal.)3.Prime and base with rustolium.4.Clear coat. That should do the trick.
