whats up guys i got a couple a questions concerning the compatability of s14 lowering springs on the y33 i have 00 AE model anyone running s14 lowering springs is the ride alot s***tier than stock springs.. electronic dampening affected? are s14 lowering springs drop more than y33 . spring rate is diffrent id imagine they are bouncier? more roll? also can i run s14 RUCA and reAR toe as well as front tension arms on the q45 without any mods? please lmk guys thanks

Are the part numbers the same????? If not, there is a reason.......like, the parts are DIFFERENT. Why try to make parts from one model fit another, just use the correct parts for the model car you have-seems like a simple concept, no?

Many people have asked this question before. From what I can recall, the springs are meant for a lighter car and aren't even safe for the Q, much less going to accomplish what you're looking for.

This is not a car for which you buy parts at autozone, or aftermarket parts on eBay. Typically the only members that have had success with heavy modifications are with tremendous subject knowledge and the means to develop and test, or tons of money.

If you have either of those, by all means press forward. Otherwise you're going to ruin a good car.

Someone will chime in with some springs they DID make for our car, but I can't recall as I never considered reducing my OEM ride quality.

thanks for the smart a** response bro.. i understand that.if they were the same PN would i bother to ask? i was asking because they are alot easier to source (pSM 15min from me)and have heard of people doing so when lowering on coilovers..i understand thats not everyones preference thats why im looking for people who have tried it thanks anyway. anyone who has had experience not just assumptions lmk thanks
