Want to know if any one else is intrestered in a project we are doing. We adapting a GM Power Glide or Turbo 350/400 to the RB motors for racing and street in the future??? See picture

why would u guys do that??

i thought the rb20/rb25 trannies were really strong....

i can see Volvo guys doing this as we blow transmission's left and right, me blowing 4 of em with minor mods...

RB trannies must be stronger than SR trannies. Although Shaun had over 24 passes on his transmission and then he blew it on a 540whp dyno pull.

The T56 transmission is the same base transmission they put in the corvette. The SR transmission becomes unreliable somewhere around 500hp. Atleast if you are making abunch of passes on it. Not sure about the RB transmission.

RB25 gearboxes are strong.. RB20's ehhh.. concensus is they're weiner over 400hp. Same as KA pretty much.

I'm sticking with my 25 trans, if anything ever goes wrong with it though I'll be doing the adapter plate..
