Any interest in a slide show for 4 gen axle replacement?

Recently I discovered I need new outer CV boots for the 95 Maxima 5-speed.
To my good (or bad) fortune, I was able to purchase two NEW GSP axle assembles for approximately $9.95 each (my net cost) plus sales tax -- long story involving an unused credit and a special sale. The axles come with the lifetime warranty and all -- so for less than the cost of a boot -- hey let's replace the whole axle assembly.

I see the good instructions posted on our club for how to replace Nissan CV boots. It looks easy enough for a geek like me to attempt the operation.

If the club is interested, I can make photos of the operation so NICO will have a picture show..

I may need a coach if I get into something like the old axle being stuck or some other issue surfaces.

Is there any interest in developing a picture slide show on this topic for the club?

I've found through experience a really good tutorial is produced when the material can be vetted by a panel of experts..

Thoughts?

Craig

We would love to have the tutorial! If you wanted to do a write up style as opposed to a slide show, I think it might be a little more useful for everyone. I'll just warn you right now that the support bearing in the passenger side can be a real pain.

Good ideal to develop instructions first then support with some pictures. Is there an example of some instructions posted (resident on here on the NICO site) to use as a guide?

Can moderators here inbed pictures within the NICO site so I won't need to worry about maintaining file/folder name referential integrity on PhotoBucket forever? I've found several instructional posts have lost all pictures when someone moves to a different picture hosting site and the NICO links aren't corrected.

I'm pretty sure that we can host the pictures for it. If you want to take a look through some of the stuff that is in the tech pages link up at the top of the page you should be on the right course.
