can someone point me in the right direction to having a neutral handling car with the heavier 302 in the bay of a s13? im thinking about going with full coilovers... and if thats the case then im sure i could easily swap springs on them. who knows... i might just go with regular spring/strut setup, but itd prob be custom which = $$

discuss...

i ran 7/5 on the s14 and i wont go any stiffer than that. the adjustable rear sway sounds like the best way to go to tune for my needs. thanks

do you track your car?reason i ask, is with even an 8/6 i had too much body roll for my liking on the track, even an s14 would have more with that springrate

just asking

yeah i had some ****ty a$$ 7/5 d2s on it. i auto-xd the car and it had no roll at all with those on it. even when i was sliding it, no roll. it felt good, but on ****ty roads it was harsh as a mofo. but i just picked up my s13 today that will be built strictly for track use. already stripped, no motor. just awaiting the 302...

302 with aluminum heads is quite light, lighter than ka down near sr...so you dont have to compensate for it in spring rates, just pick whatever rates you want

rates really depend on the tires youll run

i will be using an explorer motor with the gt40p heads mated to a t5. on the road course i will be using full slick hoosiers. i know that much. the adj rear sway def sounds like the way to do it. ill prob go with some 8/6 rates... aluminum heads = cost of the motor and transmission itself, so not anytime soon. thanks for the feedback fly.
