I don't know why I even bothered, but anyway i cleaned the throttle body on my finder. Ever since its been idleing funny and ses is on (P0507). The weird thing is after I did the idle relearn, the RPMs are to spec in gear BUT when I put gear in P or N the idles go up to 1000? If I do the idle Relearn they go to normal (750). As soon as I shut off the truck and restart it it does the same thing, idles at 1000 in P or N. I could use any suggestions.

Thanks

give it some time u have to drive around a bit first and i notice with mines in p or d it does idle a lil bit higher and at 750 when under load. keep in mind every electric device affects your idle to a degree

just unplug the battery for awhile. It should set everything back to factory settings and start the relearning process.

Could be that some extra gunk that used to be on the throttle plate or walls of the TB made it's way into the idle bypass passage or something. You never can tell without taking everything apart and making sure. Are you sure there are no intake leaks or missing hoses? You might check your vacuum lines up front to make sure none are cracked around the end inside. A vacuum or intake leak can cause a high idle.

Ya man, I actually tried disconnecting the battery early in the morning while at work and hooked it up at lunch time. Now she idles perfect!!
