any ideas on how to remove hard water stains

Starting to notice hard water stains since I had the sprinkler set up altered in the front yard. I've dealt with this before on my white maxima and stripping the wax and re-waxing did the trick. Not working so hot on a black car...anyone got ideas or know anything i can try? maybe claybar?

clay bar for sure. but first wash the car with dish soap mixed with your car soap. its will be gone for sure. a real clay bar. not the liquid. once you are done you will have no more wax so you must wax it after.

Agreed with above... except that if its already not coming off with the first tries at stripping then it may be deeper, actually a slight etch and no longer a stain. In that case you will need to polish.
