Just invested in an old 84 z. VG n/a... 6 speed.... thats the kicker... its a 6 speed. Just looking for any ideas being this is my first n/a 300zx. I'm asking if any body knows any good ideas just for small power upgrades and mpg upgrades i can do in the mean time till i get everything togeather to make this my 2nd 10 second z. I've never played around with a vg as bone stock as this so its a brand new ball game to me. Any and all sugestions and ideas will be accepted. Thank you.

well tell me where the 6th gear comes from...i found it by accident. cleaning it out and i hit the shifter and it went into a ger and when i pulled it back to neutral i thought it went in reverse but it didn't look to be in reverse cause the shifter goes back just a little farther then 2nd and 4th when in reverse... but i shifted through the gears and perfectly went 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Its an awesome overdrive.... 5th gear at 65 about 2300rpm. 6th at 65 about 1500rpm.
