any hybrids out there?

Just curious if any members have a hybrid Altima, and what do you think.I'm seriously considering trading up to one, and was looking for some feedback.Thanks.

yup - i have an 08 altima hybrid. love it. it beats the crap out of the camry or prius.

Every review I've read states that the Altima hybrid is better engineered than either the Toyota or the Honda. There are some good dealer incentives out there right now, plus a government rebate on top of that (for the hybrid). Very tempting.

Well, I was at the dealership today and test drove an 08 Hybrid.They had 6 Hybrids on special that they are trying to get rid of, so there was lots of incentives. The drivetrain was good. Lots of power, good response, and a good ride. The downside was the interior and amenities. It's not as nice as my 06 SL, in my opinion. I was not impressed. I have the leather package in my current Altima, and wanted the same in the Hybrid. They said there was no leather package available in the Hybrid. Supposedly they all come standard with cloth interior, a single CD 6 speaker stereo and stuff like that. I can't believe you can't option one of these things up on special order. I think the salesrep was full of crap, and just wanted me to buy what he had, so I said thanks but no thanks. What I really want is my 06 Altima with a Hybrid power plant. Oh well, I'm happy with what I have.
