well it wont rev out without popping and smoking, the only code its throwing is 55. dont be a d!ck

you should have stated that in the original post, emotion. We can't help you if you don't give us all the info.
As far as the popping and smoking. Does it only pop and smoke under load, or when you're sitting in neutral and revving as well?
Have you checked your timing to make sure you're not out of timing somehow? when the popping and smoking happens, can you hear what may be a valve rattle?

ya emotion its probably just that your timing is off. the ecu wont throw out a code for that. also check your spark plug gap. when you pull the spark plugs out, if one is quite a more black than the others then you might have a bad fuel injector. let us know there are plenty more things that could be causing this
