or is this not practical for a KA/SR?yup, it's a honda accord, and what intruiged me is how the turbo is more or less directly connected to the block without the regular bends. Does this yield more power or more lag?

The one from nizzx.com for the KA looks similar, is there one for the SR?

I'm not exactly sure but those look like regular log manifolds to me. Not really known to make awesome power but they are known for their durability (cast iron).

well, since the exhaust mani's dont really have any sort of bend in them to obstruct air flow, and as long as the ports arent oversized to lose air speed velocity, id say it yields less lag time. bundle it up with a right-fitting size DP and id say you would have yourself a pretty fine flowing set up. the whole cast - iron is a definite bonus though, heavy though.

Enthalpy dyno'd an SR with a log manifold, then switched to a tubular manifold and showed a gain of 40hp so I do think they have flow issues, probably from all the cylinders dumping exhaust into the one big tube causing turbulance.

that first one looks like a crappy design. lots of sharp turns and exhaust pulses running into each other in the middle. it would get the job done though.
