trying to get into go kart racing.... was wondering

what brand of go karts is like the 240sx... best bang for the buck.

also are there any good go kart forums??

Margay(not sure of speling is quite good and not outrageous) is a good chasis, depends on what kinds of tracks you'll be running, . Competetive carting is not cheap, parts were not designed to last. Depending on the length of race a clutch may only last afew practices and a race. Tires are around $60 each and don't last long at all.

better be careful i was into go kart racing till i got going about 100 mph on something that there isnt much between u and the ground......and after flipped mine going about 50 your decision

SO did you get any battle scars from your flip or what? Take some pics and stuff.

I have been karting from time to time and its alot of fun for sure. But i like homemade karts the best, the kind you would weld together at home and drive on your street for fun, not competitive.

Ive seen some pretty rediculous motors powering home-made-karts that you wouldnt believe, althought the chassis were a bit bigger than the one in that LAKC photo.
