The stillen y-pipe is the same design as the one used in some of their cat-back exhausts.

Is it illegal to have aftermarket exhaust? I don't think so...not even in cali

wow, i guess they just wanted a reason to stop me over.. so anything after cats is illegal im guessing? so the y pipe should be fine right.

This is a touchy subject. Basically any of the mods have to be CARB certified to not negatively impact emissions. In many cases, the mods don't even play a slight role in emissions, but CARB still wants to stick it's nose in it.

Noise is also regulated by city.

in my county we dont even have an emissions inspection lol... i could run test pipes if i wanted to... legally... but i like low end torque and dont want my car polluting the earth

i will do HFC eventually... when my warranty is up
