For winter time we still meet up in rockville the only time we dont is when it snows or rains... like i said its full of every diffrent types of cars... there r only a few G's they usally come out during the summer time if u guys r willing to meet up.. we can go next week... i work on at the MR.tIRE on rockville pike we can meet there on a friday night n roll up there together... it usally starts to get full around 930 or 10.. so its up to u guys wat u wanna do im down for it...

How are folks feeling about this? Personally I would rather wait until it warms up somewhat - at least into the 40's - the past several days we have been solidly in the 20s-30s for highs.

Also - the time may be a bit late especially for those who have to travel far - like the guy from PA. I would think it would be better to meet during the daylight hours - or at lease start during the day time.

So we have enough interest - we still need to come up with a date window and place.

Yeah it has been freakin cold out. The only thing with me is that I work until 9 during the week, so that ideas out of the window, because for me to leave at 9 and drive somewhere is kind of pointless. I was thinking like a Saturday during the day type thing. As long as we can get all the bugs worked out i'm still up for meeting. And the fact that I finally got my car back makes it a whole lot better. lol

New owner here. I bought an '05 coupe last Friday and love it so far. I'd be interested in a meet. I'm curious what the cars sound like with the different types of intakes and exhausts. My car is stock but I plan on intake, exhaust and the spacer mod.

I'm in Northern VA so any location somehwat close to DC is fine with me. Saturday afternoon/evening would be my preference.

We are in a holding pattern pending weather.

We still need to pick a date (pref. Sat or Sun morn or early afternoon) - based on weather trends that might mean we could shoot for late Feb, early March.

Still need to agree on location. We have 1 guy travelling from PA. I would suggest Baltimore as a meet place

i say we do it in columbia cuz there is a huge parking lot there n if anyone is up for a few runs there is a highway right next to it... there was an allwheel drive meet held there n it was hugh it fit about 200-350 cars... but thats just me i would still prefer to do it in rockville...or have all the rockville people meet up in rockville n take a cruise to the real meet, just a thought, would be cool to see a bunch of G's rollin down the highway together..

I'm not set on Baltimore - just my suggestion as the place I was thinking is convenient off of Rte 95.

There is a man-made reservoir call Lake Montebello that I thought might be a good staging area - and then we could drive somewhere from there. Again - it should be a group decision so that - everyones travel situations are taken into account.

It is good that we start this dicussion now.

wow Harrisburg is far... I think idealy we need to get a poll going to where the majority of people attending are coming from and centralize it that way....I mean it sucks if he'd have to drive an extra hour, but I think its fairer to the majority that way....

Maybe once we know where a good area is we can concentrate on a location??

I know with some of the past forums i've been a part of we did alot of meets up in skyline drive and in Harpers Ferry...there are some very pretty areas for photo ops in those locations, however I think at this time they are a bit far and out of the way for a first meeting.

I just thought of this...if we could do a meet in the Rockville, Betheda area...we could do a cruise down the GW memorial parkway (only 10 minutes away) and it's a very very pretty drive along the potomac over to Georgetown, and on the way back it has several scenic overlooks we could pull over to and take some photos....what do you guys think of this idea?

i think all of us that r in maryland should meet up one day n plan this whole thing out... i would rather discusse this in person then have ideas back n forth n not decide on anything once we have a location set we come back to the forum n let them know when n where the actual meet is gonna take place..just my thoughts tho...im kinda crazy but i think it would work better then have ideas thrwn around not sayiing that there arent some good idea but it would be best to put all of our ideas together at once n think of a place in between these places we have said...i dont know if i lost u guys on all the typeing but sometimes i dont even know wat im saying...lmao...

I'm the one coming from Harrisburg. Baltimore is actually only about 1 1/2 hours away from me, depending on how fast I drive. Ok from what i've read up on this thread we're all pretty even spaced out by geographic location with about 4-5 individuals in each area (Rockville/Bethesda/Silver Spring, Baltimore/Columbia, and NOVA).

Let say Sunday March 1st at 2pm. As for location i will leave that up to a vote. Dave and busters at in Whiteflint mall or dave and busters at Arundel Mills Mall.
