To be honest with you guys, i usually dont mind hanging out with anybody...AS LONG AS THEY ACT MATURE...,,and right now this kid G35RIDINVOLKS...just got caught street racing and he's 17...atleast thats what his profile says...now IMHO...unless he can prove he could act mature i feel he shouldnt be invited to our next meet...but thats me and i'm basing this on his street racing thread he posted...if you guys feel otherwise or feel that i'm over reacting then pls let me know

hey hey hey frankie he is 17 an im only a few years older then he is I got caught street racing at that age to that's when I had my EVO we all make mistakes n hopefully he will learn from it n not make it again if he does then he's just plain stupid... but anyways give him a chance maybe he's not so bad...n honestly frankie with a car like that an a 17 year old mindset its kinda hard not to speed esp. In a G u hit 80 before u even know it... n im pretty sure his car attracts lots of police attention like mine does....I say give him a chance let him prove himself that he mature if not bye bye....feel me frankie? Thanks for voicing your concern Frank, you were right to do so, I am not about to get arrested in a parking lot because of others' actions; and thank you Oscar for your reply, also the right thing to say, in the spirit of understanding.

Rob, you are welcome to join in our next meet (whenever that is), but you see here first hand the concern. We're not "old and boring" by any means, but we have zero interest in doing illegal or dangerous stuff during our meets. We meet to build a community, share our knowledge and love of cars, make valuable contacts, and have fun in a manner that doesn't endanger anyone. No more, no less.

Well I think I should take some responsibility in this sense it was me who flagged down Ryan and invited him to the "clique". I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he just made a mistake or poor choice (like many we have mad in the past when we were 17).

I think that we should give him a second chance - I'll vouch for him on this one.

i might not be able to make it to this meet...... but having a car like his and a 17 year old mindset is a ticket waiting to happen. I had a neon when i was 17 and i was ALWAYS racing around like my car was fast. I can only imagine what it would have been like if i had a modified G . Temptation is a motha and if someone wanted to race my G back then, it woulda been on like popcorn ....... ( i cant believe i just typed that )

Hey if Cali is vouching for him then i'm ok with it, Oscar you are right....maybe giving him a chance is the way to go, i guess the family man came out of me on this one cause i see alot of "racers" down here and it makes me mad... ... cause there is a track not to far away for such things and god forbid if one of these racers makes me crash or something with my family inside the car...they are dead on the spot and you would be seeing me on the news... ......but if he causes any trouble, i'm taking his engine mods as payment !!... ...but he is welcome to meet up

Well I just got back from a offical race with some of my firends n im in the mood to go raceing this weekend...idk how many of u r willing to test out ur G's but I know we were talking about haveing a track day n since a few people r willing to meet up then I say we take our G's to MIR near where frank lives I think it would be a good experiance for allof us to test out our cars n such...but its just a thought I haven't been then since I had my crx n I wanna go back just to get it out of my system but I don't wanna go alone....just a thought but yea it would be real fun to have some friendly competition...

Oscar, not gonna lie, I don't know the first thing about how the tracks work. Do we need to call ahead? When are they open? If its near frank, then maybe the three of us could meet in Columbia for lunch, then cruise down. Unless we need to be there early (in which case, breakfast)?

We just show up at the track n pay for useing the track its like 10 or 15 to get in... but I just checked my funds n im kinda broke right now cuz I got laid off cuz there isn't enough work so yea I kinda gotta save n milk n dipers aren't cheap so ima be sitting at home for a while unless I get some sidejob going or wat not...so yep if its a mini meet u guys wanna do ill go but won't stay for long...just let me know wat happenes...

Oscar... What kind of tint does your friend use? I heard those of us with nav need to have special kind of tint. Do you know anything about this?

I don't know wat kinda tint it is but I doubt that ur navi has anything thing to do with the type of tint I will ask him if he's heard anything about that...oh yea n I got my job back yay!!! Who ever wants to stop by is more then welcome too...

yeah tinting should be affect the navi screens...i've never heard of that....unless you're talking about putting tint on the navi screen directly...and that would be loco

Ok where is the Nav ANTENNA located??.....i thought as long as you dont tint the upper part of your front windshield then your nav system wouldnt be affected...hey oscar does your guy have 35% film, i think thats the darkest i can go being that i'm moving in Jul to Hawaii

Hey all sorry for my silence, work has been crazy.

So according to the tinting poll, Saturday April 5th is the overwhelming victor. Oscar, make it happen... Let us know if this date works for your guy. If so, then I say we got our next meet all figured out. If you're not doing the tinting (and there is absolutely no pressure to do so) that's cool, you can still come out I imagine and chill, or meet up with us later for drinks and games, etc.

VERY tentative plan would be something like: meet at Oscar's guy's place, get tinted, cruise to White Flint or Arundel Mills or whatever, chill, drink, game, relax.

Awesome. Please offer support or suggested changes to said plan.

Haha, yeah and while we're not tinting or showing up... I was thinking about driving my honda up on the 5th too. Sure she's a little banged up, but once you get her over 40mph... that's when the fun begins Hahaha... ok, I'm done.

aight cool ill let him know tomorrow do u guys have any idea of wat time u guys wanna get there??n i think the leagel tint limit in hawaii frank is 45 not 35 i could be wrong tho...but yea he has from 75% all the way to limo tint which is basiclly 0 so yea hes got enough to go around...let me know wat time so he dont gotta be there early if we not gonna get there till like 1pm or something...ill post up the address when i get it so u guys can map quest it...aight....
