Well i've noticed that alot of the nico member base are pursuing higher education, so i thought that i would ask this. I am a Kappa Sigma from the University of Alberta.

I get the feeling most of the NICO folks are either younger college kids who could be considered anti-fraternity, or are older Infiniti owners who dont have any part of that mess anymore

As for me...the cool kids and I never got along so I stay as far away from the fraternity people as humanly possible.

Hmmm. These are some interesting responses. I'm not sure what the stereotype of fraternities is down there, but im assuming its the same as up here; all a bunch of "pretty boys"/jocks who drink and party alot. Is this accurate?

Mega Tappa Kegga - University of Arizona.

I couldn't STAND the frat geeks at UA. Lived near a bunch of TKE guys, went to a party there and witnessed not one, but TWO forcible sexual assaults being perpetrated against female partygoers.

Needless to say, a nice little fight ensued, me and my roommates got tossed from the party (we were all longhaired, 80's-band-looking students with motorcycles). The great part was, we saw one of the girls at a club a few days later and she threw a drink on me.

Skank.

Sig Ep @ UF...fraternities are not all about drinking and partying...don't get me wrong, i've seen some people consume impossible amounts of alcohol...but it's more about having a group of people that will have ur back no matter what..

I think my biggest reason for not being in them is my hatred for meeting new people. I like my group of friends and wouldn't want it to go grow at all, then I'd have to be nice to even more people.
