Hey, i'm tunning my car this week going to 850hp+
do you think revving 8200 rpms with Greddy oil pump is good idea, if not so what's the max rpms does it handle

First, what engine are you running? If you have an RB26, 8250 rpms is stock redline, so why not?????? If you are running an RB20 or RB25 and have the proper head/spring work, why not????? In my opinion, there is no reason to push things over the stock redline, as when spinning things faster and faster, there are more things to go wrong.

And the other main question is, do you have the extended crank collar mod or R33+ crankshaft installed? If not, you run the risk of cracking/breaking the oil pump drive gear and/or stripping it out, more of a concern if you have a few bad mis-shifts.....

Hi Ramius thanks for responde
Engine is RB25 272 cams with springs, head studs bottom studs, and crank collar is apllied + ATI crank pully

but the only weak point is oil pump my tuner told me he is afraid to push it over 7800 rpm

i'm just making sure if Greddy oil pump can handle this 8200 rpms ???
