I'm trying to work out how to change the VH tacho signal to work with the Mercedes 6cyl tacho. Is there some sort of I/C I can use? Say for every four pulses it receives it will send out three?

A frequency divider circuit would work but often times there is a better, analog way to adjust the tach after the signal has already been converted to DC to drive the meter.

Sweet. I found a tacho adaptor suitable for V8's in V6 four runners that I may use.
