Hey Guys, Just wondering if there are any injectors off of any domestics that will fit our fuel rail with little or no modification. I have full access to a junkyard, so it would be great if any did. Thanks

Seriously, quit trying to take short cuts (no offense). Buy a topfeed fuel rail and use msd top feed injectors. Topfeeds tend to be cheaper, easier to replace, and more readily available.

Well, I was thinking of buying injectors from deutchwerks, sidefeed, and good prices. But I was just wondering if there were any cheaper alternatives.

I dont think many domestics use side feeds. Not any that are worth using for a KA-T.

Sr 370cc injectors run around $100 and drop in the rail. Other than that, go for the Deutcherks modified ones or 480s from an S15 SR.

WDRacing was playing around with a 4.6L Ford top fuel rail. Dont remember what the outcome was. Even if you went that route, you still have to find top feeds.

The very short time my engine lived I used the Deutchwerks no problems. They even offer a discount for NICO members. No resistors to worry about or having to by a fuel rail or external FPR. It is the cheaper route by far.

What did you use to tune them? I read somewhere that if I got 550's and tuned with the SAFC The ecu would pull timing. Is this true? And thanks for the recomendations guys.

I used a JWT ECU and 72lbs program. Only because I bought a used one on NICO classifieds. If I had to pay 500 bucks I would go with Enthalpy Tune. Makes it easier to tune it with an SAFCII and wideband. You don`t have to worry about timing that is taken care of by JWT or Enthalpy and the AFR is going to be close enough to use the SAFCII to adjust as needed.
