Any direct bolt-on turbo from other cars for KA24DE

wchs85 posted a question in the KA section, which I guess a lot of people don't read, because it wasn't really answered very thoroughly. I read it and wanted to know too, so I figured I'd post it here.

"What I'm trying to ask is, is there any car with a stock turbo that is available here in the USA that I can remove the turbo system and bolt up directly to my KA? I appreciate anyones feedback. Thanks"

If anyone wanted to elaborate, Im sure they would do it in that thread. No need to start another thread asking the same exact question, just in a different forum. Be patient, Im sure someone else will add their .02 cents.

If you are an impatient person, do some research on turbo's on this forum, and Im sure you can find stuff through google, etc.

I thought nismofly answered it as thoroughly as anyone really could...get the turbo, find a manifold that fits the turbo and the KA, and there ya go. Adjust the air/fuel and all that depending on what kind of setup you have...

I don't think anyone is going to give a list of USDM cars that come from the factory with turbo's that can be put on a KA, if that's what you are looking for.

I just figured that more people read this forum than the KA forum, so therefore it would get answered better here. And I had the same question, and I would have posted it in this forum, so I did. And yes, i actually was looking for some recommendations of cars whose turbos and/or manifolds would fit. I assumed the list of cars whose parts would fit would be rather short. I did search the forums and google, and didn't really come up with much. Otherwise, I wouldn't have posted in the first place.

no turbo will bolt onto the stock KA manifold whether it be sohc or dohc

if you do a lot of modifing to the manifold then you could put anything you want on there

the ford probe turbo manifold is close the the KAe, but needs to be reflanged. unless you are good at welding it is smarter to buy a manifold made for the ka and a turbo.

there are many turbo manifolds out there now made for the ka and a variety of turbos

IIRC, there is a turbo manifold of an old Datsun that bolts up to the KA(e)
