Thinking about replacing my motor with one that doesn't have 200K plus on the odo with a good portion of that boosted. I see someone on here selling a 91 VH for a good price with <100K on it. Anything I'd need to know before I purchased it to install on my '94 car? Will it bolt right in? Any performance differences or features I'd loose? Before I drop in a new (used) motor I'll be installing larger injectors and maybe doing a little work on it to prepare it for boost.

Thanks for the input.

The main difference is the harness on the CAS, but otherwise it's good to go. You can't use the 94 CAS on the 90-93, so you'll have to splice in a new connector to your engine harness, but I *know* you have the capability to do that... ;) You'll want to use the newer style injectors, and of course you'll need to switch the chain guides.

The 90-93 have the two Siamese ports on the intake runners/head versus the oval ports on the 94, which I don't really think makes a whole lot of difference in the big picture.

The 90-93 DO gain the sodium filled exhaust valves, which is very much a performance gain especially with boost!
