I know Im not the only one. If you seen the last episode of Dexter then you know the big ending. I was just seeing if anyone had any predictions about whats going to happen now.

Dude. You need to watch the last episode and see what happened. It sucks but it is also awesome.

Yeah, Dexter quickly claimed a spot as one of my top 3 favorite series shows of all time. I breezed through all 4 seasons in a matter of weeks cause I was so hooked. I'm really in the dark as to whats going to happen next though.

Dexter is a must watch! Awesome show!

SPOILER

.........I think the kid will end up at his wifes place and only be in the picture every now and then and things will go back to "normal" in his life. Probably have a bigger part as the series closes, he wants off the show and they replace him with the kid grown up/older..

Since awesome shows are being talked about...anyone watch The Sons of Anarchy?? That's a nother must see!

Dexter is probably my favorite show. I think it's great.

I loved the ending of season 4. I think it was genious. I'm not going to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it, but for those of you who have seen it you know what I'm talking about. I think it opened up so many doors in terms of the direction that they can take in season 5. I have absolutely no idea what will happen in the next season, but I can't wait to see it.

Pretty entertaining show.I kept hearing about it, so I ended up going and watching all 4 seasons in like a week. Not with out its flaws... but most are little stuff like dead bodies breathing a little and dexters shirt being drenched in blood, then magically being clean in the next scene. Pretty minor stuff, but with as good as the show is it would be a little bit better if someone payed more attention.

I heard a lot of people complain about how lame that ending was... I though it was pretty good.

When does the next season start?

Ummm, did you see the last episode? I kinda doubt the kid will end up being taken care of at his wifes place. At the point I don't really think the mother will be a fit role model.

I love it so much. The last episode was intense, I didn't like the ending though.

From now, he's pretty screwed. He has no alibi from when the he sent the kids off with the grandparents to when Rita got pwnd. He can't really say, "oh yes, I was off cutting up a serial killer." That neighbor of his already has a small grudge against him, and many of his neighbors think he kinda weird. Rita's mom doesn't like him at all. Dexter is screwed. Its stressful.

From what I hear, Their not going to jump ahead into the future. They want to show how Dexter deals with the the loss and whats going to happen to Aster and Cody. I think Dex will take a brake from killing for awhile.

^ I think hes going to realize that either killing people is what killed Rita or He will continue killing but he'll do it faster instead of f***ing around like he did with John Lithgow. I also think that the neighbor will blame Dex for killing her since the neighbor and her kissed. Dexter punched him then killed his wife? Thats just what I think that guy will say anyways.

I am betting 5th season dexter will kill, much like he always has... but a lot less often, kinda like when he almost go caught dumping bodies and he wanted to lay low.

He will take the kids, and Deb will help him... while the whole police force starts digging around to find out what happened to his wife.

The whole season will be the police digging while dexter stresses about them finding the truth, trying to maintain an appearance of normalcy, and enjoying the excuse of Rita's death for his bizarre actions. They will find out, or almost find out that Dex new the killer and there will be worries over the circumstance there. Dexter will probably get worked up about needing to kill then finally do it to help create a cover up for the truth.

Thats a good one. What if Vince finds out what Dex is but keeps it to himself? That would be awesome! Maybe Dex will tell Deb that hes a killer.

I meant the kid will end up being adopted by Dexter's inlaws and not taken care of by him.

I don't see the kids being cared for by Dexter.

Dexter is my favorite show of all time. I'm glad there's a topic for it; I can't wait for season 5!

I think Dexter is going to keep the kids on his own and it's going to be very stressful for him to juggle things. I have a feeling he's going to teach his kid how to kill, or possibly how to deal with the dark passenger. The kid isn't old enough to remember that event like Dexter was, though.

I really can't wait to see what happens. I knew the finale was coming for multiple episodes. There was so much obvious foreshadowing around it. I just didn't want it to happen.

They're only pretend siblings on TV. Greg from the Brady bunch dated his TV mom.

I don't see Dexter getting blamed for her death. Keep in mind, as far as the FBI and the police are concerned the Trinity killer is still on the loose - Dexter could easily direct any attention that he gets to Trinity. Also, I think Dexter will take care of all three of the kids going forward. Including Aster and Cody - he's grown too close to them to give them up to the inlaws.

As a side note, I thought John Lithgow's performance in season 4 was brilliant. I think he played the part very excellently. The Golden Globe Award he won was much deserved in my opinion.

I didn't read any posts in case any were spoilers...

I started watching not too long ago. Finished season 1 and am now on s2e04. It should be finished downloading tonight and maybe s2e05 too. If it wasn't for the nice 720p bluray rips I was able to find, I probably never would have started watching.

You mean his wife in real life.

The more you know someone the more attractive they become. It's no surprise actors in situations like that end up being together.

Did you not see this episode though? She has a banging body, I have to admit.
