well im planning to purchase a 95 240 base model in NYC in a few days. The car comes with an HKS hiper, ingen intake, aftermarket headers and mid pipe. It is also equip with tanabe coils. Now the problem is how does CT run their emission test? I know in NYC i can go to any certified shop and pay them a couple of bucks to pass it for me and i actually have a location for that. But the car will be register in CT. please provide me some info or spots that i can go to get my car to pass emission thank you.if this is in the wrong area u are free to relocate it or lock it up so i can post it in the appropriate area thanks.

they will strap it to a dyno and do the sniffer test. each dyno in the state is monitored, remotely, byt two cameras, one in front, one in back. it's a federally monitored program and no shop that i know of will risk their business to pass you. besides, there's no way to "trick" that machine, i don't care who says differently. i do emissions on saturdays, so i've been around this new program for a few years now.
