Does anybody know how to calculate the speed you would attain in each gear given the differential ratio and the transmission ratio and redline?Dane

Search in the tire/wheel section. A while back I posted the formula for figuring vehicle speed through the method you describe. Search there and if you don't find it, post here again and I'll spell it out for you.
