Lots of practice!

Some of the main things you'll want are coilovers, LSD, and probably a bucket seat.

Welcome to Nico!

Your car is older than you are...before you start modifying your car make sure the parts that are already on are up to par.

I'd be willing to bet that at a minimum you'll need to replace the following...

Ball Joints
Control Arm Bushings
Steering Rack Bushings
TC Rod bushings (in this case you're actually better of by replacing the whole TC Rod - check out Battle Version for some nice stuff. And if you have a mishap they're the only company I know of that will you sell you a single TC Rod.

Actually you should just replace all your bushings (I like Whiteline but Energy Suspension has a nice kit). After that I'd certainly look into a decent limited slip diffand a decent seat that will hold you in place.

Two words: NICOfest Carlisle.

Every May, at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, during their Performance and Style Show, Carlisle gives us use of their track for a weekend of drifting and autocrossing. Any level of experience is welcome. Very inexpensive.

Make sure the car can handle the abuse. The frame on that car has been cut and patched because it was rusted through. So if you plan to drift it, make sure everything is gonna stay together so you dont have an accident.
