( NEWBIE TO NICO)OKAY HERES THE DEAL.. ITS TEMPTING ME BUT I NEED ADVICE. I WENT TO MY LOCAL WHEEL DEALER AND THE OWNER HAPPENS TO BE A FAMILY FRIEND. HE TELLS ME ABOUT THIS READY TO "SLAP ON" TIRE/WHEEL DEAL.HE SAID THEY WERE ON A IS350 SHOWCAR. THE TIRES SEEM UN-USED AND ALL IS IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. WELL HERE THEY ARE. MRR 20'' WHEELS WITH NITTO TIRES. THEY ARE STAGGERED WITH A FOUR INCH LIP IN THE REAR. WOULD THIS BE A NOTCIEABLE LOSS, IF IT IS A LOSS OR EVEN A GOOD IDEA FOR THAT CASE?. HE WANTS 1,500 FOR THEM!

P.S. THEY ARE MRR GT1.. 20''.. 10 INCH IN REAR.. WELL IT LOOKS GOOD..HE HE... ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APRRECIATED.. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

i think you want to try to stay in the 8.5 range for the width and ur probly gunna want to make sure the offset are 40-45 and the tires are 245/35/20

WELL THE FRONT SET ARE 8.5... BUT I WAS ACTUALLY CONCERNED THAT SINCE THE REAR SET WERE 10. THAT IT WOULD BE LOSING POWER OR THAT IT WOULD AFFECT THA CAR MUCH THAT MUCH. I MEAN IT LOOKS GREAT..HE HE.. HE SAID ITS NOT A GAIN OR WIN SITUATION. IT MORE OF A GAIN IN PURE LOOKS BUT I WANT TO BE SURE.. OTHER THAN THAT IVE DONT SOME RESEARCHING AND THAT SET RUN QUICK A BIT OVER 2 GRAND!

Errm, what's with the all-Caps?

Anyway, there have been a lot of conflicting opinions here on staggered setups on a front-wheel drive. I think the single fact we all agree on is that if the wheels stick out too much in the back (or front, for that matter) you will get rubbing on speed bumps and driveways etc. especially with 20" wheels. Let alone if you ever plan on lowering it.

Definitely a win in the looks department

I'm not sure they would look right on the coupe. They are a European touring type wheel. I would goto tirerack and look at some similar wheels on your car, see if you like the way they sit. On the other hand that set probably costs 2700 installed seeing as how the wheels themselves are $500 apiece!

I personally love that touring style, but i dont know about the deep dish/lip... especially on a FWD... i can understand for looks, but IMHO you drive your car more then you look at it... you got it to drive, not to look at... Just my opinion...

Just going by the pic, the tires profile looks too tall! What size are they, front and back? I think you'll probably have rubbing issues with that set-up. You won't be able to crank your wheel all the way and every little bump in the road you'll probably hear rubbing.

I would imagine 10'' rear tires are too wide for the Coupe, and with the 4'' lip it'd have to be a low low offset
