Any Advice on options to replace 2009 Murano stock stereo - or beef it up

haven't purchased a car in a while and didn't realize what i was giving up by not making sure i got the premium package, the stock stereo is kind of weak and if i thought about it more clearly i would have gladly paid the extra $1000.

Anyhow, was wondering how difficult it is upgrade the current stereo (really like the integrated look so would prefer not to upgrade head unit).

Any input appreciated.

You could get a clean sweep from jl audio. This will allow you to ad an amp to your stock unit, then you could swap out and add new speakers and possibly a stealth box all while using your factory stereo.

Welcome to NICOclub, glad to have you here in the Murano Forum! Sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the base audio system in your Murano, I don't think that replacing the system with the upgraded stereo would be feasible. Even if it was mechanically possible, it would be quite costly. I wonder if you were to install upgraded speakers, and if it is possible to install an amp to provide a little more beef. I am not that knowledgeable with stereos, but those are my thoughts. Good luck and enjoy your new Murano, it is a sweet vehicle!
