any advice on buying a vert needed

I'm lookin to be buying a vert for my dad sometime this week, its a white 93 with 160 k miles. I own a 92 coupe, so i know what to look for for the most part, but what should i look for besides what i'd look for in a normal 240 in a convertible? check to see how the top comes up and down, for rips etc, but anything else special to check for? any input would be great thanks.

The tops are expensive.Going to cost me close to 400 in parts. GF just got hers done at a shop cost her $1075 but she had some extras.Although another member just had theres qouted for $1125.It's exactly the same as a coupe so just make sure the top works good.
