Hello, I am relatively new to the car community and I have an oil leak between the transmission and the oil pan in my 2+2 NA. I think the rear main seal is leaking. Not too long ago I took my Z to a cheap mechanic to replace my clutch and its been having problems ever since that. I live in the Twin Cities area. Please let me know thanks!

There really aren't any 300ZX shops in Minnesota. A leaking rear main seal isn't that difficult or specific to the 300ZX. If you're looking for a decent reputable shop, try Further Performance in Minneapolis. Ask for Frank.

Also, realize that although it can be the rear main seal leaking it also is equally possible it's your valve cover gaskets leaking/failed, as the oil drains down the block and presents at the oil pan/trans consistently...have them checked out to avoid a repeat visit.
As RubyRed suggests, for a rear seal you should be able to have a reputable regular auto shop do it without problems, it's not Z32 specific in any way- just labor. The valve cover gaskets though...if that's your issue be SURE they've been in there more than a few times as it is more Z32 specific.
