antilock light stays on after brake job on my s13? why?

i dont know what i did but all i did was take out the caliper bolts thats mounted on the spindle and after all is done i put everything back together properly. perhaps someone else might have experience this before and can probably help me with it. thanks!

Did you bleed the brakes at all? If so, check your reservoir and make sure that you have plenty of fluid in it. Heck, check it anyways.

no i didnt need to bleed bacause i only had to change my pads. this is only on the front left side of the vehicle. and yes the car does have ABS. Before this it worked fine and everytime the car would start skidding i can feel the ABS working. it only started giving me the light after i changed my pads. im going to check the control unit and have a closer look to see whats going on.
