Anti-Theft Alarm

When I open the door with my key, the anti-theft alarm goes off....nothing i have tried seems to work. I don't have the remote because I bought the car used. Any suggestions on what to do until I can remedy the situation. I can't take anywhere to get it fixed because the car won't come on.... thanks for your help

I have a similar problem. What I do is to UN-lock the trunk first then the door, it works for me.
