So, I'm looking to upgrade my sway bars. Right now I'm running coilovers, RUCA's/traction/toe links/tension rods, and complete ES Master Kit which includes the bushings for the STOCK sway bars.

I am kind of leaning towards Cusco or Tanabe. Tanabe seems to have the largest bars that will clear the Greddy SR20 oil pan. I know that the Godspeeds have crappy bends (not mandrel bent) and come with sh*tty rubber bushings. Whiteline's are also a possibility but they have crappy endlinks so if I have to get new endlinks then what's the purpose since buying them because they have endlinks seems to be the major reason for getting them. I was thinking Suspension Techniques but I'm not a fan of the weirdo lime green color. I could care less about adjustability.

Also here is a breakdown for reference...

S14 Base model: Front bar is 27.2mm, there was no rear swaybar equipped. S14 (SE and LE package): Front bar is 27.2mm, 15.9mm in the rear bar.

Aftermarket Sway Bars

Largus - Front bar is 32mm and 2 way adjustable, rear bar is 28mm non-adjustable. Tubular steel construction. Stock type endlinks. Largus includes new bushings with purchase. These swaybars will NOT clear the Greddy SR20 oil pan.

Whiteline - Front bar 27mm, 22mm in the rear. Solid steel construction and 3 way adjustable. Whiteline users their own specific blade type endlinks

Tanabe - Front bar 30.4mm, 27.5mm in the rear. Tubular chromoly construction. Stock type endlinks

Progress - Front bar 30mm, 24mm in the rear. 3 way Adjustable front & back. Tubular steel construction. Progress supplies a heims type endlink on all swaybars.

Cusco - Front bar 30mm, 21mm in the rear.

Suspension techniques - Front bar 28.6mm, 20.64mm in the rear. Solid steel construction. Stock type endlinks

Try to keep the poll additions down to a minimal level of gayness.

I have Progress sways and they're great. 3 way adjustment on stiffness front & rear and adjustable heims end links.....the best.

ok i have the suspension techniques front and rear sway bars, while they do their job just fine, after tracking my car a few times i wish i had opted for adjustability, if i were to do it again i would have gone with progress over suspension techniques

you probably want to toss LARGUS out. They don't seem to be around anymore. There may be a few bars left in stock in USA, but one or two at the most I think. (i looked into them not too long ago)

You have the Greddy pan? Are you sure the Tanabe bar clears it?

I had a Cusco rear bar for my first s 14. It is pretty small.

I had a R33 bar on my last s14. It was HUGE.

I would not buy any of those male brand bars, progress, suspension technique, whiteline.

I would go with Tanabe or Cusco... probably Tanabe.

I plan to get Tanabe bars for my new car.

I have a whiteline right now and the end links are pretty terrible. Of course, since I already have the bar, I could just buy the end links from PDM. If I were to buy a new bar, I'd definitely go w/ Progress.

Trust me on this one. Progress is the best. Clearance, end links, adjustablity, fitment, complete hardwares, quality, customer support, price...etc.

I was thinking Tanabe myself, by the way what do you mean by male brand bars?

No I don't have the Greddy SR oil pan but I plan on getting it, and yes the Tananbe bar will clear it.

Would you happen to have the specs on the R33 bar?

I meant LAME.

LAME BRAND.

I don't have specs on that bar, but it was seriously huge compared to the Cusco one I had before.

No, I don't understand that bull**** you just wrote.

I don't like the progress or whiteline or suspension techniques because I don't see them in the Japanese mags and whatnot.

So, if you decided to speak like an educated human being, I would have just replied "yes".

Thought so. Just doesn't seem like a good reason to dislike something.

Probably not, but I trust Japanese parts over any other part.

I am going with Tanabe. Just the fact that they are chromoly (better toughness, elongation, and yield strength) instead of mild steel ends the decision for me . The fact that they are hollow is great to.

Well it is a Japanses car. I want Japanese parts too, here is why...

Whitelines's end links suck

ST's are lime green..... come on LIME GREEN?

Progress are VERY nice but I don't need adjustable bars.

Progress, Cusco, and Tanabe are the only ones that have a 30mm front bar, Whiteline and ST are stock sized.
