My power antennae sounds like a margarita mixer when going up and down. Anybody know if it can be lubed and how? Thanks.

You can take the tail out and lube it with a lithium grease, but I bet that will not cure your problem. Most likely, it is your motor failing. The tail and drive gears are nylon, so do not require lubrication.

I bet the belt is breaking, the motor doesnt really fail that often too my knowledge...

Get a replacement mast, and take care of it that way.

Layla's made terrible noise. When I opened the side, the aluminum tube is broken in half. The shaft and motor are fine, but the tube causes it to bind. I just lowered it, and unplugged it. The reception is about 10% worse, but much more acceptable, than an antenna half way down.
