Antennae doing nothing?

Hi guys,One of my big complaints about my versas have been radio reception. I just noticed that if I disconnect the antenna from the roof, the reception doesn't seem to be affected. Is this the case for everyone? Is it possible that along the way the antenna is disconnected inside the car?

Don't know about others but I've had surprisingly great -- not even very good, but great -- reception!

Do you have a stock system or have you upgraded?

I have a stock now, but in my first Versa I had upgraded to a Jensen VM9312 and a HD tuner and both of those had similarly not so good performance. A little worse than the stock unit it seemed.
