antenna trouble

my antenna on my 95 se was broken so i bought the replacement mast. well this thing doesnt fit. anyone swap to a different antenna 99% of the time i listen to my mp3 and dont need the antenna up.

i bought a replacement power antenna off ebay that didn't fit so...i broke off anything from 6" up, put that in and wrapped with electrical tape - now i sporty, black antenna and never worry about it breaking in the wash

while thats pretty resourceful, the old antenna was already trashed by my 3 yr old before i could do anything. so im beat. i need to fix this damn thing
