i took out my stock antenna and there was a board connected to it. i was wondering if this is important or if its just part of the antenna motor? thanks

you mean a circuit board? it's the motor. you can remove everything from back there and you'll be ok. i taped up the harness plugs though, so water wouldn't get to them.

How did you get to that stuff. It is kinda sealed betwenn the rear quarter and the trunk. Didnt really try but any info wud b cule (stupid)

just pop the plastic pop rivets out on the interior and peel it back. get the e-jack out and then disconnect the bracket it was in (3 bolts). After that it's just a few bolts on the motor assembly, and it's out. I did a write up on it a few months ago. Do a search for antenna
