I'm currently in the process of replacing the stock power antenna on my '98 i30. Short of fishing a new antenna cable through to the rear, is there an adapter that uses the current antenna cable from the rear end?

Are you replacing the entire motor, or just the antenna mast?

I wanted to replace the power antenna completely with a static antenna. I was successful but was unable to figure out what kind of connector was used for the signal wire in the rear. So I cut it and spliced it with a standard Motorola male connector so it can accept any aftermarket antenna.
