antenna questions

First, is the antenna supposed to be telescopic cuz if it is mine is broken?

Second, i really hate the way the antenna looks when its up, if i were to remove it and shave the hole would it affect the stock(for now, but plan to get a pioneer in near future)radio?

Your radio signal would be nowhere as good. but your car will look a hell of alot better

mine doesn't go up like it's supposed to so i just pushed it down. it only sticks up like 3 inches now and i get pretty good reception.

My antenna quit goin down, it just stays up, i'm tryin to replace the cable inside the antenna, but i can't the the bolt at the top of the antenna off. I've tried and tried and tried and it won't come off.....any suggestions?

I have stock antenna but I want the automatic one does anyone know where I can get the parts or if there's some kind of kit ?

you can get it from your local nissan dealer but ur gonna pay a lot of money...your better off goin with an aftermarket antenna...youll get better reception and it will look better too....and wont be as expensive

Yes it would because the pioneer radio will still use the same antenna setup as the stock radio

your best bet is probably ebay...but if you have a car sterio store around you they would have one or be able to get one for sure

so what do u think i should do, get an aftermarket antenna for the pioneer too?
