Which part are you having trouble with? Removing the motor or the mast? In order to remove the whole assembly, first you have to remove the black ring on the outside of the car that stops the whole mast from retracting all the way in.

There are two holes on that ring. You can use anything you can to insert into those holes like a pair of needlenose pliers or paperclips, anything that will allow you to unscrew it.

Once you have that off, remove the spare jack mount. Then you have to feel around for the bolts that hold the antenna motor into place if you cant see them. After its unbolted, unplug the motor from the wiring harness.

There has to be a thread about this somewhere. Search for it. It gives a better description.

Be careful which ever instrument you use, as it is easy to scratch the paint or injure yourself if you use the inappropiate tool like needle nose pliers.

Their is actually a kit you can get from any of the tool trucks, Snap on, Mac, Cornwell....etc that has different antenna removal tools, for like $22, if you do this alot (for body work Antenna replacement) it's a good investment.

Hehe. It's not that serious. I can't see how you could ever injure yourself by simply trying to remove that black ring thing with needle nose pliers or something similar. A scratch in the paint, maybe if you're not careful, but injury not likely. Not in this case at least.
