yeah... mine doesn't work either, but i can also hear the servo working. i can't get at it to see what the problem is. i had to pry my antena out and just leave it up so i can catch some waves. i'm probably just going to get one of those little rubber ones sooner or later, but either way, it's a real p.i.t.a. to get to the underside of the antenna to work on it or take it off.

anyone have any tips or solutions?

Open your trunk. The antenna mechanism is to your left. You need to remove a plastic panel first, and the dig your hand inside, and up to get to the mechanism. Before you do, there are 3 bolts I believe (it's been a while) that hinder you from removing this. 1-2 bolts are for a metal tab bracket, and the other is for the bracket that is directly attached to the mechanism (bear with me, I'm trying to do this from memory).

Anways, check to see if anything is visually messed up...see if you find anything odd that might be obstructing it.

What I did: I bought a s2000 style rubber, short antenna and replaced the metal one. Looks nice..

I just took out my antenna last night so I can tell you....you have the remove the 3 bolts that hold the jack holder on. Then there are 2 bolts that hold the antenna in place. But before you take those two off you will want to unscrew the antenna nut on the outside...it's the piece of metel thats on top of where the antenna goes into on the fender. I used some pliers but covered the jaws with a rag so not to mare the metal/plastic. Then the whole antenna will come out. I replaced mine with this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

if you can hear your motor and your antenna doesn't move, it means your mast is broken.....its a plastic teeth line/string that is attached to the antenna. If that is broken, the motor will just move but it won't push or pull the antenna.
