Antenna Motor

Car: 1994J30 Infiniti

I went to the junk yard to pull the antenna motor off a '94J30 and was able to disconnect and unscrew everything but I was still unable to pull the antenna down from it's connection at the top. Is there something I'm missing? Can this be removed without this junked car having to be started?

The antenna has a threaded cap that needs to be unscrewed.
