I am trying to replace my 2000 Xterra antenna mast. I have the Chilton manual, and have followed the steps but have hit a snag. I cannot pull the mast antenna cable through the body. I have disconnected the cable from the radio, and I have removed the glove box, and have unclipped the antenna cable from various clips, and pulled it through to this point. The cable continues into the body, toward the engine, where I cannot see/reach it. I know it is clipped there too, and that is what is preventing me from pulling it through to the outside. Any ideas on how to reach it?

When I replaced one on an older Pathfinder I had to unbolt the inner splash shield to get good access to everything.

May not solve your issue but when replacing one on a older truck I had yrs ago i cut it at both ends and just yanked it out, but I was totally replacing mine with all new cable and antenna so I re routed it using a different easier to use path, may not be good for your application. The do not make things like cables easy to replace once the truck or car is all put together.

You may have to remove the inner fender in order to get to the rest of the cable.
